Carol Hagerman teaches watercolor at  B.I.G. Arts on Sanibel. On Feb 9th she will made complimentary remarks and constructive suggestions to those who created the many paintings in the show. Those who do not wish to have their paintings critiqued are encouraged to indicate their wishes previously. Carol made suggestions that mainly concerned the use of design elements such as repetition  and dominance. She will also stress the flatness of water and how color is reflected from the ground onto clouds at times.
Carol was a student of the great painter and teacher, Ed Whitney for 10 years (yes it takes years to be a good watercolorist). When Ron Ranson went about authoring, Learn Watercolor the Edgar Whitney Way, he called upon Carol for help.
