Art That Connects Us
For over 75 years, the Fort Myers Beach Art Association & Gallery has believed that art is more than something to see—it is a way to bring people together, strengthen communities and create opportunities for others.
Today, our reach extends throughout Fort Myers Beach, Fort Myers and Southwest Florida through community partnerships, arts education, charitable giving and free creative programming.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are proud to use art—and the generosity of our members, collectors and supporters—to make a difference beyond our gallery walls.

Community Events
Plein Air Painting
Experience Southwest Florida through an artist’s eyes.
Our plein air painters take their easels outdoors to capture the changing light, tropical landscapes and distinctive character of our region. These informal gatherings offer artists an opportunity to paint together, exchange ideas and enjoy the camaraderie of creating outdoors.
Plein Air sessions are held Wednesdays and Saturdays and are open to artists of all skill levels.
Lunch & Learns
Come for the conversation. Leave with a new idea.
Our Lunch & Learn series brings artists, experts and community members together for informal educational programs covering art, creativity and topics of local interest.
These free programs offer an easy way to learn something new, meet others and become part of the FMBAA community.
